MiCare assessment tool

The third deliverable of the project has been coordinated by IPERIA. It includes an assessment tool conceived to respond to a double objective: on the one hand, to assess participants’ confidence in their abilities, and on the other hand, to evaluate their previous experience and skills to the extent of identify missing skills and learning needs for further training.

The tool is based in the competence framework produced in the scope of the project which identifies the key competences for migrants working as carers.

To date, the assessment tool has been tested in four countries and adapted after the pilot phase. A second piloting is foreseen in the upcoming months.

MiCare Training toolkit

This innovative tailored course piloted by the Spanish partner CESUR, will cover five modules in a blended learning format. The modules envisioned will include different aspects identified as priorities for migrant’s working as the caregivers. The training program will be delivered by a group of experts in each partner country and attended by 80 participants.  At the end of the training, the participants will receive a document certifying their participation in the MiCare training program.
